Request data deletion
To request deletion of your Vote.to account or information obtained through Facebook login, email how@vote.to with the subject “Vote.to data deletion request”.
- If you can sign in, open Your account on Vote.to and include your Vote.to account name and the provider account ID shown there.
- Tell us whether you want your whole Vote.to account deleted or only the information associated with your Facebook connection removed.
- We may ask you to confirm control of the account. Never send passwords, access tokens, or authentication codes.
We will acknowledge the request, verify it where necessary, and explain completion or any information that must be retained under applicable law. Backup copies may remain until their normal retention period ends. See our privacy policy for retention and your rights.
Disconnect Facebook
You can also remove Vote.to in Facebook’s Settings → Apps and Websites. Removing access stops that connection; it does not by itself delete your Vote.to account, votes, or polls. Send a deletion request for those records.
Remove a creator explanation
On the poll, open “Explain my vote to the creator”, uncheck sharing, and save to remove your explanation from the creator summary. Changing your saved vote also removes the previous explanation. If you cannot access the poll, contact us using the address above.
Removing information from Vote.to does not delete posts you published on X or Facebook; manage those through the relevant service.
